Do you like the Chevron Fabrics?
When I first started seeing these fabrics I didn't much care for them. Then I saw the cutest little dress and I thought, maybe there IS something to these fabrics. Have any of you made quilts using Chevrons? I've seen the Chevron pattern used several times. But, I'm talking fabric. Do you like Chevron fabrics????

I've been doing some craft shows, and chevrons are EVERYWHERE. Personally, I don't care for them, but I bought some charm squares with chevrons to try to make some cell phone cases. Maybe they'll turn out cuter than I'm expecting, but it sure is more difficult to work with fabrics that aren't to your tastes. LOL!

I like chevrons, but I do find the fabric tricky to work with in quilting. I have had some success using a tone on tone chevron as a small border or a binding. In blocks, it can be not all together pleasing unless you give very careful attention to your cutting. I have been toying with the idea of trying a stack and whack type block, just to see what I could come up with-- it would be fairly subtle as far as kaleidoscope blocks usually go, but it might be fun.

I like the look of the bright chevron fabric with the matching fabrics. Since I very rarely buy a full fabric line, I don't think it will be added to my stash. I think the whole point in some of the fabric lines is that they don't match your stash and you have to buy the collection.
