    Default Happy Quilting Day!!!

I've always known it to be National Quilting Day. That limits it to the USA. So I Googled it and it turns out it is also celebrated as Worldwide Quilting Day. So lets all spend the day enjoying our hobby. I'm assembling a few quilt tops that I've been cutting this week. What are you doing?

Happy Quilting Day everyone! Today I am finishing up the quilting on the central panel of a BOM. Then I’m going to work on adding some detail quilting to a UFO that I want to get finished this month.

Happy Quilting Day! I'm practicing quilting on 18 by 21" pieces to be made into Easy Does It Bags (byannie.com). Surfing the net for new ideas for walking foot quilting designs. I haven't had much luck with the rulers with my regular old sewing machine. I draw the design with washable marker then follow the lines with a walking foot. As always, any and all advice welcome and appreciated.

I forgot all about Quilting Day! Thanks for the reminder QuiltnNan. I will celebrate by attempting to finishing two quilts. One needs to have binding and label and a hanging sleeve. The other is half quilted then needs binding and labeling. Celebrate wildly quilters! Since we are all home, who will know how wild we really are!

    Yay! Happy Quilting day, friends!
I'm going to finish up yet another baby quilt for my little cupcake. I can't wait to show everyone. It's a darling pattern.

I'm almost done basting the quilt on my cutting table, working on finishing the hand work on a binding, have 4 more quilts to sandwich/baste, 4 quilts ready to quilt, 3 bindings to do the hand work on. I have plenty to do. LOL

Have a great Quilting Day! I have already jumped into another Boom block this morning and the plan is to work on them throughout the day. There is always something quilty on my plate for everyday so I can celebrate or prepare to share Quilting Day everyday!
