I made an orange, yellow, and white one.

It's more attractive than it sounds. Really.

I have some fabric that has 9" - 12" flowers, different shade of orange green brown black. I was so fasinated over I used it for Pumkin- crazy patch style. and the tail feathers of my Turkey Day Qt. tops done. But the fabric sure is beautiful. I woldn't be afraid touse is in a Qt. Good luck on yours.

I thought of this post when I read yours. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-44114-1.htm
It is a beautiful orange material. There may be ideas in her post you like as well. Good luck.

Great idea..... I'll look into it. I always think of poppy's as red, but I have seen some pretty orange ones.

I never used to like orange either but now am also drawn to it.. Reds too! I love this easy quilt and recently bought a bunch of fat quarters (I love to do fast, easy quilts)...

oh it's in the second row down, and it's a strip quilt (so not too overwhelming on the orange)... Was featured on cover of Quilts and more...

I made this for my DD. It was my first quilt. Used yellow brick road pattern. It is orange and pink. It is way prettier in real lif. And I don't even like pink, but works real well in this.
