    I think this pattern is a lot easier it's all 1 1/2" strips except for the center pieces and except for the big triangle setting blocks there aren't any bias 'opportunities'.

    I'm going to try to get it done for Christmas for my son. Famous last words. I will be 'peckish" myself on those triangles before I'm done.

    I like the pattern and I think it says they did it in various fat quarters. I think it might be one of those patterns that attention to value or contrast is important (IMHO).
