If I were to do this, I think I would buy this template system. I watched the video and it seems quite comprehensive.
It works out to about $64.00 Canadian with shipping from Poland, so maybe $50.00 US?

Have a look at the video if you are interested.

Gosh Watson, you sure know how to pick hard patterns that will turn out just gorgeous! I've never seen this one before but you will do great with it. Can't wait to see it finished.

Have to finish the one I'm working on currently, but this is definitely on the list.

Or take your pattern and have the templates cut for you???
Guaranteed you'd have yourself in "business" quicker and at a much lower cost.

Oh what a challenge, but the results would be SO rewarding!
So many options too, as to how to tackle it!

The acrylic templates would improve cutting accuracy if you could go around them with a small rotary cutter.

There is an Accuquilt die for the Go! Cutter. It’s a 12” block.

I have the die for the Cleopatra's Fan block. Every piece fits perfectly. I had the Shar Jorgenson's acrylic templates and cut out pieces for a few blocks and gave up, too tedious. I messed up cutting many of the pieces using the templates no matter how careful I was. I made a throw pillow from them and said no way, until Accuquilt had the Go die for it. A few of my friends swap dies this one has been a hit.

It's on my list, but don't think it's very far up the list. LOL

The only reason I kept the Accuquilt I received for my birthday is curved piecing, and the Cleopatra’s fan Die is one I plan on purchasing. I had tried to use the free Robert Kaufman templates but after one block attempt I realized I would need proper templates. I will purchase the die when I am ready to give this pattern a shot.

There's also a machine embroidery program at either Sweet Pea or Kreative Kiwi. Good luck.
