I don't think it's a big deal at all. Nor do I think it would prevent you from using it anywhere - they wouldn't limit themselves that way...it wouldn't be a good business strategy as someone else said.
I wouldn't worry about it in the least. I don't think it's a problem at all.

Honestly, I think they do that on purpose! Joanns pretty much has a monopoly where I live so they can get away with anything! It is getting more and more difficult to be a crafter/sewer as the Big Corps have caught on that they can make money from us.
