I recently clicked on an ad that was on this board for "quilters slide lock". It is a gadget to old your fabric still while cutting on the mat. It looks like it might be useful..my ruler always tends to move a bit when I cut. Has anyone tried this product?

I haven't tried it, but if you can, get a ruler that has a thick plastic "top" thingy on it. It fits over the cutting mat and the ruler won't move. I have two and I think one comes off and you can put it on another ruler.
