Has anyone tried this purse/tote pattern?

I have not tried any purses but would really like to and since I love this fabric anyhow...I was thinking of getting the quilt if you think it is not too complicated for me.

I was signed up a week ago to take a class on making this tote. Due to teh snow, they cancelled, but the class is going to be rescheduled.
The sample purse in the shop was reallly a nice size, just the right anount of pockets for me, and not too big. I don't usually carry a tote/purse anymore, but this one caught my eye.
The class cost $30.00 plus fabric and supplies. I already have the fabric so I think I will still take the class just to get some pointers and to get out of the house.

I made this last summer and thought it worked up rather easily. However, I do remember thinking that it was a good thing I had some prior sewing experience.

You can do it just read the pattern through before starting and take your time.
