has anyone used ?

Has anyone used the Body-rite posture thing that is supposed to relieve neck and shoulder pain when sitting and sewing or crafting ? It supposedly corrects your posture when sitting. Nancy's notions have it on sale and I'm wondering if it really works.

I bought it years ago and it did help a lot. What helps even more, and more permanently, is making sure your chair and sewing setups are ergonomically correct.
Nancy's Notions price seems high, even on sale. I found it on Amazon for less:

Also found it at Overstock for less:

I bought a lot of the exercise balls all sizes. It's better then a jungle gym for the kids to play outside on the soft grass yard. I rounded them up and stored them fully inflated and only one had a leak. The others deflated a little I guess from the cold but pumped up just fine. Kids can invent so many ways to play with these things. And they are inexpensive and provide hours of fun.

I have one of the body-rite posture thingies... I used to use it a lot when I was cross stitching and found that it REALLY helped me. I keep meaning to find it (it was so carefully put away that I can't remember where) and see if it won't help with sewing at the machine too.

I also bought the Body Rite Posture Pleaser many years ago and believe me it cost a lot more then because it was so new. My back, shoulders and neck just love it. I keep mine hanging on the back of my sewing chair so I don't forget to put it on. I have forgotten and believe me I regret it. My setup is correct with my chair and machines but this really keeps you in alignment and feels so good. Good posture makes all the difference.
