This happened to me once with a dark green. It rubbed off on off white. I dampened a sponge with a small amount of stain remover and dabbed those places very lightly then washed the quilt . I also used a color catcher sheet when I washed it. It turned out great.

Thanks Kathy! I will try that if it happens again. In the mean time I am working on an easier section of the project. That is, I am working on it when I am not reading here on the board! Maybe I should be turning off the computer and turning on the sewing machine more!
