Me either. In fact, I've never been to a real quilt show either!

I have attended one with Cathy Miller The singing quilter. and her quilts were really nice. She had just finished one that was done with postage stamp size squares. And of course her songs and singing were very entertaining. Then I was at one that Patricia Pepe did shownig us the "X-block" books and the quilts she made with them. If you haven't heard of her you should look her up on google. She is a wonderful lady. I just happened to be staying at the Magnokia Hotel in Houston last year at the Quilt show. And there were several with local ladies that have 2 or 3 patterns out. They are fun.

Our guild has had a couple of speakers that gave a Quilter's Trunk Show. It was facinating.

I've seen several trunk shows, some really big and some not so big. I have even given a trunk show myself.

They are fun, I like to see the ones where they show ALL of the stuff, old and new. You can really see the progression in the work.

I did see one where I could NOT wait to get out. Her quilts were pretty, but public speaking was not her forte.
