I sure have, and still do. I like your quilt a lot. I'm not a purple person but you have nailed it in this Bargello.
Plus, I love the way you have your colors sorted in order in the upper left of the photo. I will follow your example when I finally make one of these.

Oh, I forgot - this is my "I'm sure in the end this will only amuse *me*" quilt: https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...953-604889.jpg

I forgot it's in my album of UFO's. Crazy, but I love playing with color, and had never done applique. So, if you're learning, you're winning I say! And yours is a lot less crazy!

I admire your use of color! I don’t always like the quilts I make but I am willing to experiment and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I think your quilt works beautifully.

I wasn't impressed with Bonnie Hunter's Grand Illusion mystery quilt a few years ago (most of them I love)...but crazyly....we just got a bunch of snow and it is cold....and I happen to have Grand Illusion on my bed....and I am loving the brightness of it...yep...it is the most gleeful quilt in the dark winter months!

Chesirepat, that would make an awesome picnic quilt or play quilt for the floor on snowy days!
