Default Have you made an Aunties Two Bailey Hobo bag??

Have you made an Aunties Two Bailey Hobo bag? it uses batting strips and jelly roll strips. I have the pattern but was wondering if anyone had any tips before I begin the project. After looking on you tube, the tips I found were to use a large needle, to use 2 ¼ inch strips of batting rather than 2 ½ and to steam iron after every two strips are made.. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

Did you see the video in the above post? They look very helpful too.

I like those patterns and made the poppins bag in class. Lots of fun techniques to learn including how to hand sew on the bottom. We used tubing to insert in the handles for stability too. I think we used a 90/14 top-stitch needle for our project. Good luck on your bag!
