I am not sure if this is where I am to write this. I went to a small quilt show yesterday. One of the booths had the potato bags and now they have one for corn on the cobb.
Has anyone seen or made one for the corn? I haven't even made the potato one yet. But plan on making these for christmas gifts this year.

    Hi,

I have used the potato bags and nice. But you have to be careful on the material that they are made out of or they will catch on fire in the microwave.

I haven't seen them yet for the corn on the cob.

The ones that I seen yesterday had potato fabric for the potatoes and corn for the corn bags. Real cute. I can't wait to make one even for myself.

Yeah, but what are they for? Storing potatoes? And why would they be in the microwave?

They are cloth bags, usually made with cotton materials and thread, that you put potatoes in and nuke them. I guess they come out moister this way. They also seem to be a big hit at some craft fairs, too :D

I don't know if I would want to cook more than 2 at a time in these... but that is just me

They talk here about different foods used in these bags.

Some one made me one for Christmas and it works really well! But I am not sure of the materials they used to make it. It is for the baked potatoes.
