I just checked m thread box also and I have some unopened spools from CT but unfortunately not that color, but it looks like two on this 'thread ' have spools of that same color that may be helpful to you - good luck. I don't know about other quilters, but when I am piecing and joining my blocks I use a neutral color or white unless it is a dark fabric, to sew the quilt top together, then use whatever color I want to use for my quilting just a suggestion for the future.

Thanks for recommending Superiors education section Selm. I just checked it out, a lot of beneficial info there.

That was the idea which came to mind to me too. I would try to match as close, but possibly a little darker rather than lighter I think. Good luck. How frustrating!

tlk, It is easy enough to send a private message dray695. Go to her original post and click on it. It will pull down a menu with lots of options, including "private message". You can then communicate back and forth with her. It's pretty easy once you've done it...just takes a few times and you'll be a pro! I'll send you a PM so you can see what it's like. Very nice of you to try and help her out! Patt
