Default help with border choice

Fellow Quilters, I need your opinion on this quilt.

I feel that it needs a border. I made this piono key type border and like it, but do you think it would look better with a border made of the half square triangle that are in the blocks?? I believe I have enough fabric to make enough to make a double row of half square triangle all around.

Or maybe you think I should do something different??

The principles of design say repetition is good.

I really love this quilt , some of them just feel right you know, and I don't want to screw it up now.

Thank-you for your opinions

I too rather like the one you show but would perhaps add a solid color inner border first. Great quilt what ever you decide.

I really like your border too. Like nativetexan says, you might audition it with a narrow inner border, but I do like it as it is. It's a very attractive quilt.

I agree with the inner border, how about a narrow gold border. Very pretty quilt.

I really like the border you've created. I also agree that a narrow inner border would add to your look.

I agree with the others , I like what you have done, but the addition of a narrow inner border would take it up another notch.

I love this idea! IMO the inner border doesn't need to be very wide; just wide enough to separate and show-off the piano keys to advantage.
