Ok - here is what I have in the house - otherwise I have to go buy something...I cannot believe I don't have any blue material - well I have one piece but it won't work - the color is too dark.

    pink/white/brown leopard print & pink/white/grey paisley

brown BC material that is in the quilt

white with blue/green/pink/yellow swirls & then brown with pink flowers

The brown border seems to go the best of what you have shown, because it goes with what is in the quilt. Maybe even a solid color, so as not to distract from your quilt. But definitely yes on border. Great work!

I really love that pink/white/grey paisley but not so much with your quilt. The brown is perfect! Maybe another border with a solid and then the brown again as binding? Because I love hot pink that is what I would use for the back! I really like those daisies too.... so many choices!

I'm thinking a white solid or tone on tone white - or polka dots to pick up the cool aqua, since there is so little of that color. It's very pretty.

If you are having to go with what's on hand - for sure the brown as the outer border, and if you had a white or tone-on-tone white could make a narrow inner border. The swirls pattern fabric would make a nice backing.

I was thinking of the swirls (blue) for the back with yellow for the border....what is funny is I bought that material and 4 other coordinating materials for a quilt and I've ended up using each piece in something else and none of it together!

My only problem is I have not done any FMQ on large pieces and I'm afriad to try and quilt that one piece - maybe I'll cut it into 4 like the front and use the yellow to outline it....

I think it needs a border. I like the brown that you already have or the pink paisley.

I made the same pattern and didn't put a border on it. I wanted it to go on and on visually. A border makes it end.
