I like everything about that 2nd fabric, the tones and the change in scale from the prints in the leaf all work well together. I think it works well with the background leaves as well, those light highlights in the dark print just grabs everything and makes it play nicely.

Here is a lone voice for the narrow dark border, photo 3 I think. To me the black botanical print is too stark in contrast and diminishes the impact of your leaf. While that black print is beautiful, I also think that it does not match your other fabrics in "style and character". With the beautiful fabrics in your leaf and that leafy border, I would not want the black print to become the focal point of the quilt. JMHO, echoing out here all alone. lol
