Default Help with faric running!

We had a mini flood in our new home. We moved in a few weeks ago and I have not been able to unpack the extra bedroom. My red and white fabric was in a cloth bag and got wet. A few of the fabrics ran including a medium blue. I thought I should dry, cut fabric up to save it, but it could run when washed. Any suggestions? I thought of getting the dye catcher things for these fabrics, but now I think I should prewash everything before using. Any suggestions??

Thank You !!

Because the fabric sat wet I would certainly wash it. I would separate the fabrics, and wash by color, and I would use color catchers. I pre wash everything with color catchers, and wash until a color catcher stays clean. Usually two washes suffice.

Do you prewash your fabrics?

I always prewash all my fabrics. Of course, I only buy remnants and yardage, no precuts.
