Unhappy Help finding a pattern for nephew's wedding quilt

My nephew is getting married at Redondo Beach, L.A. CA in late July. They will live near the ocean and I planned to do a lap quilt/twin size using "beach" color. I'd found a free pattern on one of the fabric co websites that was a simple square patch that was offset so that is "waved" horizonally and had an appliqued circle design that formed a wavy line vertically asymmetrically . Not a great description, I know!

Problem is I can't find the pattern! Either I can't find the fabric co (know it's not Moda) or they've taken it down. I was excited as I will have scrapes from my daughter's storm at sea (made from blue batiks) and planned to use them with the circles being various yellow, orange, red to look like a setting sun over the ocean.

Can any one help me with this? My EQ7 skills are not up to speed yet to draw this out

Kind of hard to help without knowing the pattern or seeing a picture. Did you "Pin" the quilt, by any chance?

I have seen some 'beach' quilt photos on Pinterest.
Take a look here.

Hope you can get some ideas if you can't find the exact one that you seek.

It sounds like it's a bargello type quilt with applique added. Maybe include "bargello" in your search?

Here is another idea.
This one was posted on this board by hobbykat1955 back in 2010.
I bookmarked it for inspiration.

Wish I could help in the search. You might look at this pattern by a board member named Eileen Wright. The pattern name is SURF'S SONG.

I would also suggest searching in Pinterest. You will love Redondo Beach. Lived there for about 4 years in the mid 80s. Sometimes is can be cool and foggy in the mornings.

Maybe this - it is called Beyond Horizons. It was at one time a free download on the Blank Quilting website. I didn't see it there today, which is why I didn't provide a link. I have the pattern so feel free to PM me.
