I know I just can't resist this fabric and here is what I did this week with some of the scraps

awwww that is so freakin adorable. I LOVE IT..i figured it out but cut the pcs and stopped because my snowball batik is staring at me on the design wall with all the grinch fabric around it....got jealous so need to finish it first....lol

The part I really hated on the grinch quilt was cutting out the borders that are shaped like the edges of a postage stamp.

I am still debating if I should do that or just cut the blocks square and use ric rac... Here is a part of the snowball

Oh my, the batik snowball is gorgeous! I debated about not doing the postage stamp thing and I decided that it looked better with it.

Thanks. I really love it and can't wait to finish it. Hopefully if all goes well tomorrow the top should be done as it is only a lap size. Will post pix when done
