Try using the CornStarch... when I was little (not that long ago!) I decided to put Crisco on my mom's brand new(just laid that day) carpet.. not a happy mom to say the least but she used Cornstarch, put a brown paperbag on it and weighted it down. Had to do it several times but she said it worked.. I also use Dawn on grease spots

Is it a pattern that you could applique a flower or something like that? Or could you put a label over it? Just saying .......... Blessings, Ellie

If Dawn (I heard dawn original when I first heard about it) doesn't work you might try Lestoil.

Glad the Dawn dish detergent worked. BTW- It's what rescuers use to clean oil soaked wildlife.
