I am a professional, so just take this for what its worth. I would do a small meander on the outside of the cat faces and inside I would echo quilt, just to give the faces "motion". But, any all over pattern will look great because there is so much going on with the kitties. Very, very cute quilt. You really cannot go wrong, the quilting should never take center stage to the piecing anyway. Post a pic when done! Happy Quilting! Michelle

What a cute cat quilt. I would sew around the cats with translucent thread and outline some of the cat details, I would think that would hold things together.

I would do an outline and then facial stuff, smiles, eyes, noses, collars, necklaces etc.

That is so cute, and I would just do the quilting all over in a neutral thread.

I wouldnt quilt through the kitties if it were me. It looks tacky. These kitties are so cute let them stand alone. Stitch in the ditch and echo stitch on you machine I say.

I love your quilt. I think squiggles would be fine and wouldn't be a problem. You could always do an outline stitch around the cats, and mouse and letters, and squiggle the rest. Not sure if you are up for that though. I can't wait to see it done! Let your fear go and have fun with it!

you could echo around the animals then meander the rest. Love the quilt like the mouse touch also. Great colors!
