My thought is to make 2 D9P tops - just alternating the layout of the blocks. Exact same starting pattern, same fabrics, just a different layout.

Rail fence was the 1st one that came to my mind.
There's so many ways to arrange the blocks.
Red, white and blue... or beings it's a lake house, use fishin/hunting themed fabric.

Thanks to all for the great suggestions, and the web sites to visit. Found several that I would be will ing to try. I have lots of ideas, and hopefully within the year, will be able to post some finished quilt tops. Thanks again, always so many wonderful angels on this board.

I like the idea of using 2 colors and reversing them, I think that would be adorable. Something simply like a disappearing 9 patch or the 10 minute blocks would be perfect.

Eleanor Burns has a video on how to make two quilts at the same time. It's been awhile since I've watch the video but this might interest you. Here is the address: http://tinyurl.com/nm4gdy9

Turning Twenty is always pretty and easy - looks much harder than it is!
