Your blocks are awesome! I do agree with the comments on the original sashing, but that is the beauty of "auditiioning" first before doing any more sewing. A design wall is a wonderful way to look at the layout, stand back or even walk away for a while and then come back and look again. And getting great advice from QB friends is priceless, smile. Love your new arrangement!

Even with vintage fabric, it looks really modern. It is your quilt. If you like it, continue.

Change the sashing. Blocks are fine

Dont care for the sashing...drunkards path blocks generaly are not sashed, you lose alot of design potential there.

I agree with using a tone on tone, or light color for the sashing. It would cut down on the busy-ness. You could use what you have as the sashing as the backing...

Sashing overwelms the blocks and don't tie in with anything in the blocks.

Before you sew it, maybe you'll want to try it with black sashing instead of white. I like the blocks and they're beautifully sewn, but I think they'd look even better with black. I don't think I'd use that pink/red/beige print in this quilt at all, but maybe that's just my personal thing - not fond of that color combo in anything.

Put a 1" black border around the blocks, then the sashing.
