Default Help locating the Name of this Pattern Please.

I am posting this for a friend of mine. She is a QB member but is shy about posting a thread. She is looking to make this quilt for her sister but needs a pattern. It looks like a variation of the Carpenters Star to me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Very pretty. Yes, it is a carpenter star. She just needs to substitute the 9 patch blocks for the solids in the background. There is a carpenter star layout in tutorial section where she can see how many to make

Carpenter's Wheel is the correct name. It's one of my favorite blocks. This quilter added the interesting border details, I love it. You can find free patterns and tutorials for the carpenter's wheel center, but I have not seen anything with those borders.

To make the rest of the construction easy, make the HSTs in the carpenter's wheel easily divisible by 3. This way the 9 patches will be easy to construct.

I'm confused. I've always known the quilt to be called Carpenter's Star.

What is the difference between the star and the wheel. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they look the same to me.
