I'm making a zig zag quilt for a friend's upcoming baby. They don't know the sex, so I'm sticking to neutral colors. I have several orange and yellow prints, and I'm going to alternate them with a solid. I was going to due white, but now I'm torn and thinking of doing aqua. Which would you all choose?

    Thanks!

Aqua, or sea foam. Very pretty and still baby friendly and gender neutral.

I will second the advice to use white very sparingly on anything for a baby. Mine always managed to stain anything white!

ditto on no white. Defeats the purpose utiility and of feeling free to actually USE the quilt.

I think that white, aqua and yellow would be great bor a baby quilt. Maybe white between the yellow and aqua. I'm not sure about the orange and baby. But this is just my opinion.

I just made a baby quilt (sex of baby unknown) using aqua pattern (ducks with umbrellas), added yellow, white and water blue. Turned out cute.

Primary colors. Babies see black, white and red first. Also if you you anything besides baby soft colors, the child can use it longer.
