I agree #1, #2 is too busy for me too. BUT if you are a scrappy person.... I bet #2 is your choice. Quilter 1234

I like number 2 because of the patchwork sashing. Not a fan of white, either but really like number 2.

I vote for #1 - love the larger block & how you accented the block with the unique sashing - how cute

Number one is my choice... a little simpler and more "babyish" than number two. Number two is more "grown up" because of all the structure. One is just a little more "free and easy" which is more for a small baby. (Nice designs, both of them)
