    WendyG,
Maybe, you could use this fabric for both! First cut the OBW, then use the waste/extra for the CW.

The fabric is beautiful. If you cut this fabric very small, I'm afraid you will loose it's effect. Wendy G. might have hit on something there. Might need a little more material if you make both.Black or green would make a good contrasting color.

My first thought exactly! It will probably be a great OBW - - keep in mind - - the triangle doesn't have to be 3" and small - - you can make it a bit bigger in the event that you find a small triangle gives you too much green ... perhaps you could cut a template with the triangle size cut out and lay it on one of your "strips" before you actually cut it ( you know what I mean? Pretend that you have already cut it into the strips, but not until you know the size of triangle you are going to cut)
If you find that your triangles are going to be green in too many areas, then enlarge your template 1/2" and see what you are going to have across the strip.
Can hardly wait to see what you decide <wave>

One Block Wonder... If you do a search in the tutorials for Tip Toe through the Hexagons, you will find a thorough discussion of this pattern and technique.
I have never looked for an abbreviation definer, but I have heard that if you do a search on the board for understanding abbreviations, you will find a help <wave>
