I want to make some mugs rugs, can you please tell me how big I need them to be and what kind of batting does everyone use? Thanks

about 5x8 and I use warm n natural so it's washable

Go to "search" and type in mug rugs and there are lots of pictures.

I also put a layer of a flannel backed tablecloth to make it leak proof as my furniture is wood and shouldn't get wet!

I use Insul-Brite in mine. Protects surface underneath fairly well.
