Default Help, Need Quilting Ideas Please

I am loading this giant on my frame today, but it still hasn't "told" me how it wants to be quilted. I am hoping someone can help my brain get in gear. It is a half log cabin pinwheel. Yes, the pinwheel is subtle, but it is what she wanted, and we both love it. The grey polka dot is the backing and I want the quilt to be usable from both sides.

I do know that I want the body to be quilted differently than the border. I'd really like to quilt it in a way the makes the black part of the pinwheel stand out.

I really appreciate the help. I have to get this done so I can get the binding on.

I thought about the feathers, but will that look ok with the polka dots on the back?

Thanks, i was kind of thinking some swirls with an occasional sunburst type of thing to carry in the pattern in the corner blocks. I haven't really done pantos. I freehand mostly.

I think I would like a design centered in the pinwheel design to highlight the shape. Maybe like a spiky flower that would look good from the back too. Whatever you decide it will look great.

Large swirley would look really good.

Look at Angela Walters' web site, http://www.quiltingismytherapy.com/, and you will find lots of wonderful ideas for this type of quilt.

Thank you. My brain is at least trying to work now. Lol

I think I've got it..... well part way. I'm going to do a fill in the light areas... maybe some straight lines. .. then make a star burst with square end full the dark. .. hmmmm. Still working it out.
