This is just a picture of the supplies list...I believe I have the magazine with pattern and templates if you want to "borrow" it!

it's a little big for a wall hanging, but you could always take out one row and instead of putting the pouch on the back, you could hang it from the bottom of the quilt so the clothes could be reached from the front.

Now that I have looked at it again, I SO want to make it!!
:-D :-D
That is too cute!!:)If you make it...I want to see it:) I know all the grandkids at my mom's house love the dress-up magnets onthe frig ...they are forever switching outfits and have for years:)[/quote]

I LOVE the idea of embroidering my granddaughters drawings, when she can do more then scribble...lol..she is only going to be 3 but is already starting to color IN the lines. So, now the pictures will come and I will definitely embroider them. GREAT idea!

Oh my goodness--what gorgeous children! I like your scene--I'd add trees! Please post your wall hanging when you're done!

What beautiful children and great ideas for the wallhanging. I can't wait to see the finished product. Doesn't work get in the way!?! I have the same problem.

Your grandchildren are so beautiful!

I would get silk flowers that have individual mini flowers on each stem, for example a lilac is made up of all little
tiny flowers, or baby's breath, or something like that, and sew the flowers by the school and on the pathway on your wall hanging. You could use a lazy daisy stitch for the leaves. That would make it very colorful and dimensional.

You could add some beads, too, to look like different flowers.

BettyJo

Maybe you should think about a crayon quilt wall hanging.
That way the girls could be a part of it. Have them draw pictures & color them. This way you could incorporate the pictures into the wall hanging. You will be surprised what they come up with....... Hope you will post picture once your project is finished.
Your grandchildren are beautiful........ Scrap Quilter

Paper dolls! Adorable idea. What magazine is the pattern in? I don't remember seeing it before. it's a MUST have pattern. We had 4 great granddaughters in 2 1/2 years. I want to make this quilt for each one of them when they are a bit older.
