Wow, I have heard people say to take a b & w picture, but have never tried it. It is neat to see how well that works. I will use that trick in the future!

To my eyes, #2, 3, and 4 don't have sufficient difference in value, if you really need a difference. Depending on what part of each one is more visible in each piece after cutting, they might go in different order.

ditto....I see no difference in 2,3, and 4

I'd go with 1,3,4,2, too. My favorite trick is to look through the viewfinder of my camera or take pictures of the colors.

I agree 1342. Because 3 and 4 are the same value, you might want to substitute something else for one of them, even though they are both lovely.

Do you have a piece of red plastic, can't remember the name of the tool, look through it and it shows the color value.
