I had the same problem. Very frustrating when you have dozens of flying geese to do. I called my Janome dealer and she said to change the zigzag plate to the single hole plate. Worked like a charm. Still once in awhile it would try to chew them but not as much and was an easy fix.

The same happens to me so I am going to watch this. How do you change the pressure on the foot?

I called my dealer and there isn't as yet a single hole plate!! I also looked online and can't find one!! Totally surprised!! So, I tried the paper and it worked. I think I'm going to get some of the wash away stabilizer so I can just put the whole quilt together without having to rip off the paper. Will that work???
