Most credit card companies handle foreign currency/conversion just fine. That said, some do charge a fee for doing so, but if yours doesn't there wouldn't have been an issue.

I would have suggested PayPal as an alternative, but they appear to have a 4.5% currency conversion fee.

Sorry ladies!
I was just looking at the pattern and thinking... " that wouldn't be so hard to draft out"... then I saw your response!

Oh, I really like that one! The designer has scads of patterns available, lots of FPP patterns.

There are several colorways shown on her website, too. It looks like a really versatile pattern. Controlled scrappy is one of my favorite styles, and this sure fits that bill. It is easy enough to figure out - but what i'd be curious about is how she suggests pressing the seams.

I did go ahead and buy the pattern anyway. I'm always better when I have a pattern to follow. They charged me the Australian rate of $16 even though I had checked the USD rate. Go figure!! Peaceandjoy, the only pressing directions she gives is to press and not iron.....I would think the quarter square triangles would be pressed open and the half square triangle pressed to the dark side. But I could be wrong....LOL

I am not usually a scrappy quilter, but I do really like this pattern. Especially the first example where the constant is the quarter triangle half of the square. This could be an ongoing project as you sew other projects. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
