I would go with the green, it would make the rest pop. I like the gold/yellow too. I would take some squares and audition them..

Ok, it's a slow day at work, and I love your blocks!

In case you don't have easy access to a fabric store, I added in a few sashings digitally. These might give you a rough idea of what you're looking for.

I like the darker colours more; I find the light/bright ones draw attention away from the blocks.

    Light navy:

Medium blue, similar to the background of the blocks:

Dark green, close to the dark part of the leaves:

    Medium green:

Dark yellow, similar to the dark parts of the flowers:

Light yellow: (almost white... actual white looked unnaturally bright because of the lighting in the photo)

I agree with using white as a basic sashing. If it is going in a particular room (or to a particular person) and the main color is one of the colors in the quilt, you could use it. I personally like the idea of white sashing and framing with an outer border of the darker green and bound with the darkest green. What are you going to use for the backing?

Jennifer23 has done wonderful work to show what the different sashings would look like. Personally I like the dark green.

I think the light navy makes the blocks "pop". So does the dark green.

What color do YOU want to Highlight? I'd go with that color in a narrow sashing and outer border.

I too vote for the light navy. The digital samples are wonderful. They make it so much easier to decide.

I agree ...I am a newbie but I saw that my first quilt I spent almost more time on the project on Photoshop part than the actual realization :-) It helped a lot to see the result
