Jennifer23 did a really wonderful job showing the different options. Out of those, depending on the colors of the room where it will be used, I'd probably go with either the first blue or the dark green. I also thought it might be nice to suggest a more "neutral" option for the sashing fabric & came up with this dark brown. Doesn't look as pretty as Jennifer's art, but it gives a rough idea of coloring.

Take the blocks - maybe 4 or 6 of them to the fabric store and try out everything you think might work and even those you think won't work (you could be surprised).

i also could see a pindot fabric in the right color looking pretty cool, too.

    Pale yellow might look great.

Had you considered framing your blocks before adding sashing? That way, you could complement the blocks with the darker color (that first blue was beautiful), and also lighten the quilt with a soft white sashing.

I like the idea of Google'ing (LOL) for 4 Four Patch Posie images to get some ideas. Can't believe I didn't think of that...I Google everything.

    That sounds pretty.

I like the darker colours more; I find the light/bright ones draw attention away from the blocks.

    Light navy:

Oh my Jennifer, I can't believe you did all that for me. I love, love, love this one - the light navy. Thank you soo much - I really appreciate it. What program did you use to do that. It is awesome.
