I just can't wait I'm going to a quilt retreat with a group of fellow quilters
we went last fall and planned one for the spring before we left.
It was great we had space for 16 and have 14 going. I have attached a link this place was great. Brand new build last year from the bottom up
just for quilters. She does host scrapbookers and other events also.

If your close and would like to come I can give your email to the lady in
charge. I was in charge of the one in the fall. We don't make anything off of this just orangize it for fellowship with other quilters. So cost to
retreat owner is all you pay.

Oh, I ENVY you, Texasquilts! My sister & I go on a quilter's retreat in the Adirondack Mts every Fall. Sounds alot like where you go. For me, it is always one of the BEST weekends of the entire year. A real "Quilter's Paradise" I hope you have a fabulous time.

So, explain - you got your own group of quilters together for this retreat and booked the site? I am assuming that you all take your own sewing machines and fabric and patterns along? Do you plan some classes or what? Please, tell us more!! The site is just lovely.

Your right about the group and the booking we each pay $150.00 and $15.00 extra if you want the goodie bag which is always a great deal.

We don't have classes we bring new and old projects. Last one I finished
two quilts sewed binding on 2 did a demo on the one seam flying geese
and started a new quilt. We can sew as late as we want because they
made the sewing room sound proof. I sewed all night, one night couldn't
sleep. Chef prepares all the food and does all the cleaning we just get to
play.....

WOW. That's a beautiful place. I used to go to Canton when I lived in Dallas. I'd love to know about other retreats there if you get a chance. I'm in Houston, so it wouldn't be bad. Unfortunately, April is too busy for me :( Enjoy!!!
