    say it with us starch is your friends. hehe I am glad to see that it helped. i find that for getting good points to go together I need to sew just to the outside of the intersecting x. if that makes since. don't know why but it doesn't eat up the points.

    Thanks I forgot to mention that I also did that and I am sure that also helped me. I haven't yet been able to do a class on paper piecing which I have been told is just the bees knees when it comes to accuracy. I think the lab technician (past life job) makes me want everything to be just perfect. I am very quickly however learning that sometimes I will just have to accept "near enough is good enough"! I also think the mistakes make the quilts uniquely mine. :-P
