That is a hard thing to do. Did manage to not buy any for I think 3 months, but I think I have made up for it. To make it even harder --- I work in a fabric shop. :)

I don't know how you did it for 3 months & sorry you fell off the wagon but you really don't stand a chance by working in a fabric shop.

I so know where you are coming from. I am trying to not go to JoAnn's tomorrow for the start of their weekend sale when they have their clearance (red tag) fabric at 50% off - lots of new bolts added. I DO NOT need to buy any more fabric. I have plenty already to quilt. Lord, keep us strong!

I can relate. I get the fabric buying syndrome every coupel weeks. The trouble for me is, my favorite quilt shop is only 20 minutes away and I get withdrawal if I haven;t been there for a couple weeks.

I know I have too much fabric, because when the word got out that I quilted, my husband's congregation gifts me with their leftovers. I couldn't say no (even if I wanted to) Most of it is wonderful, too. My niece was here this weekend and since she's just learning to quilt and has only a microscopic stash, I let her take a big box of assorted fabric back home with her. That was so much fun watching her eyes light up. However, there is still no more shopping for fabric for me for a while. I have projects waiting, so I'll use what I have for now.
