    Default Help!

I've seen a picture of a quilt that I knew I'd remember its name. (Of course, I will.) I even wrote it down "somewhere". So help me!! I think the quilt was mostly browns, maybe just 5" squares and then sashed with the sashing having 1/2 square triangles at both ends, creating stars with the cornerstones. I think it was simply quilted with verticle stitching in rows about 1 1/2 or 2" apart. Is this clear as mud? Anyone recognize what I'm talking about?
I want to show it to my daughter but where was that and what was its name?

Did you see it on this forum? Only suggestion I have is to go to your browser history around the time you think you saw it and click on every link.

Is this what you are looking for? It is a tutorial for a scrappy quilt but it has the star cornerstones you were describing. You could just make the quilt with any style block and sash it as shown in the tut.

I found it!! It's Morning Star on Quilterscache.com.
Sharing in case someone else would like to use this idea to set off their work with stars as the cornerstones.
Thank you so much to the ones who did respond to my search.

Looks the same as what Butterflyblue and Sschick posted. The same pattern with different names.

The one from quilterscache is a free pattern and the sashing is wider than on the other 2. I do like the one that sschick recommended in that it gives extra "wiggle room" when attaching the sashing strips to the cornerstone block. Also gives a lot of variations for what to put in the large block. Scroll down through those ideas to get to the sashing tutorial.
    Thanks for these suggestions!

Here's a favourite of mine with the "wiggle room" stars!
It's called "Magnitudes", but I always think of it as "Field of Stars"!

If you use the search feature on her blog, you can find more Magnitudes done in different variations/colours/etc.
