Unhappy Help w/ bro. Pe-770

I need help to figure out how to back up on the machine. I've had a few designs that the thread broke and I need to back up, so I don't loose the design.

Can anyone help me please? thanks

I am so technically stupid! In my ignorance I bought a 32 flash drive and loaded everything on it. my simple way of backing up! Hope I never have to use it since it takes forever to search

I thought you need to do a back up of files. Now I understand you need to go backwards! I think this discussion has taken place before recently. Maybe you can a search of discussions. Also allbrands has a forum you can sign up or that seems to be mostly about Brothers. Maybe that is where I saw the discusion.

i don't have your machine, but my Brother has a screen to show the design and colors progress. at the bottom, is Search. when I press on that, it offers me multiple options and one is backwards search. i know i can go stitch by stitch or jumps several stitches. i can't really recall the details and the machine is still packed. hope that helps.

I have the PE780, which I believe is virtually the same machine as yours and, trust me, I've had to use this function a few times! When you are on the screen where it shows the embroidery progress, there should be two icons in the lower right, one is a needle with a plus sign, the other is a needle with a minus sign. The plus sign moves the needle forward in the design, the minus moves it backward, one stitch at a time. If you press and hold it will move it like 10 stitches at a time. Hope that helps you.

I think this question was asked on sewforum.com(allbrands). There is alot more embroidery information there especially on the pe770's because they are so common
