    My SIL wants a white on white quilt, any suggestions?

    Can she go shopping with you to pick out the fabric? That would give you a better idea of what she is looking for. Does she want any other color?
    I saw a quilt on here that someone had done in white on white and beige... was beautiful

    She only wants white.I wish she would let me put some color in lol.

    Try a whole cloth quilt - the quilting shows up like an embossed pattern. The time saved on piecing can be spent on the quilting -- pick pretty design stencils & quilt it allover.
    I have a store-bought quilt, (shudders) called mattelasse that is ivory w/ ivory thread & it's so gorgeous! One day.......

    Thanks! I love them, too! The mama & baby are both calico -- mama is normal, but baby is long-haired.

    There are a lot of WOW fabric with different designs... the quilting could really stand out on just a simple quilt pattern :D:D:D
