True friend. That's something she will remember always. Bet she helps someone down the road. All due to you. Thank you for sharing. BrendaK

What a great way to spend the day and help someone at the same time.

Yes, never the same again. Bet she's thinking overtime. I can almost see the wheels spinning.

You are a great friend. I could certainly use a lesson like that. But I would also love to help organize and put all that fabric away too!

Well the fabric isnt put away. Tomorrow I will get it done. I need to finish the flying geese on this Bali Star or I will shoot myself.

Another quilty friend came over and we planned a getaway weekend for next week. Two nights in hotels with hot tubs and indoor pools. Going to hit eight quilt shops over two days. Doing western part of the Northern Illinios Quilt Fest plus some extra shops. Figured out our route--harder than it sounds because of the amazing inconvenient hours of many LQS's on this shop hop--closed by 1 on Saturday and no Sunday hours, just when are working people supposed to get there?? I dont need anything and neither does she but we need to get away from the recession.

What a great friend you are. You taught her what many of us have spent a decade learning by trial and error. Your planned get away is well deserved...ENJOY!!
