    HERE ARE THE TWO THAT NEED TO HAVE THE BORDERS SEWN ON.... THEN I NEED TO PIC OUT BACKING! SHOULD I GO WITH MUST BEIGE??? NOT SURE. I WAS THINKING ON RED FOR THE ONE... LIKE A RED ON RED PRINT.. THERE IS NO SOLIDS IN THESE..

    Very pretty. It doesn't look like the Irish chain needs another border, unless you want to make it bigger. Not sure if beige would stand out in the log cabin. Can you post pictures with different borders for the members to see?

    I would not put another border on the irish chain. I like the idea of a red border on the first quilt. Both are beautiful.

    looove the log cabin!!! Mum made a red/black/white log cabin a couple months ago and it looks sooooo dramatic!!!

    Don't know about the first one, but for the red Irish Chain I'd look for a red and white print for the back. Just MHO! They are both terrific. Happy Quilting!

    Love them both! The B&W would look great with a narrow red border strip and a wider black one. I wouldn't play it safe with the backing. I see B&W polka dots! The red and white needs nothing to enhance it, Just the backing. Polka dots!!! :D :D
