    No, ThingTwo (18) just doesn't have they eye for junk (the eye that says 'hey-that funny-looking table over there probably has a sewing machine in it!'), or the interest. But he's always willing to come with me, hold the flashlight or the other end of the tape measure, and help get the heavy stuff in the car, so... To each their own!

    Never saw one like the first one, but the BU is AWESOME!!! It will fit on your Singer table if you drill the hinge pins a tad larger (footprint is the same). That's what I did with mine. Of course, I treadle mine. :) They are amazing for fm quilting. Almost silent. Guess it's that Italian machinery! Awesome. Congratulations!!

    Congratulations on raising such a smart son! You really cracked me up referring to him as "ThingOne"! And your comment about "We'll have to arrange a pony express among the cousins or something" Had me laughing too. So funny!
