These days, it seems like I'm always sewing something or quilting something. Today I started putting binding on my red tractor quilt and I also made a attic windows top showing John Deere tractors and equipment in the windows. I still have to put sashing on it and quilt it. I start in about 8 in the morning, taking breaks, checking message board quickly, then back to sewing. Time off for lunch and back to work until room gets to dark to sew.

Anyone else have this problem? LOL

After raising a family, working sometimes 2 or 3 jobs I figure it's my turn now. I am enjoying my sew and quilting time so much. Today the phone did not ring all day and DH was at work. Home alone. Pure Heaven! Doesn't happen very often.

I have the desire but not the time to do just that.

If I keep wishing maybe it will happen. I also have to wish for the funds to do so as well.

After 40 yrs of full-time work and wishing I was home quilting----I'm home quilting!! (Actually I work one day each week and fill in when needed but find when I'm at work I still wish I was home quilting.) Felt guilty about sewing so much when I first "retired"--guilt lasted about an hour LOL. I love sewing all day and hope everyone gets a chance to do this.

How do you check the message board quickly? Takes me an hour or more because I keep finding new things to look at! :) :) :)

You are with your own here. Lots of quiltaholics here. I'm not retired yet but plan on sewing all day when I can.
