Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I'm just getting back into quilting after quite a few years. I'm excited about making my quilting comeback......I've made a few table runners and a few applique pieces. I'm ready to tackle my first quilt. It's a small one, but it's an actual quilt, not just blocks and odd pieces.....any advice or encouragement would be most welcome.......
Thanks
Ladyhawk

Welcome, Ladyhawk! You will enjoy this forum. You can find lots of info on this site, and folks are always willing to help.
Advice for a first quilt - keep it simple, focus on basics, accept that you will make mistakes and don't negatively compare your work to anyone elses. What makes a quilt beautiful is the amount of love that we put into them as we construct them.
Again, welcome!

Thanks everyone !
I'm very excited to get back into it. My first quilt will be a small one.....teacup applique. I forgot how much fun it was choosing the fabrics for the teacups.......I've already gone over the pattern and it doesn't seem that difficult. I'm sure it will all come back to me once I start again.
