Maybe our petitions worked?

The Wall Street Journal this morning says "KeyBanc thinks Wal-Mart may put fabric back on its shelves. That is bad news for textile sellers like Jo-Ann." It shows a graph of Jo-Ann Stores stock activity trending down. If Wal-Mart is going back in the fabric business, I wonder if Jo-Ann will lower its prices and go back to a discount price instead of the LQS prices they've had recently?

When our local Walmart was recently converted to a superstore the fabric/craft department was taken out. There's another Walmart not too far which has such a department but no fabric, very little for quilters, and what they have in a section for "batting" is fiberfill.
Recently I had a return at the local store and noticed a directory sign which included "Fabric & crafts". Didn't have time to see if they've realized it was a mistake to eliminate it but hope to check it out this afternoon. It was an active department; hope it's back to stay.
