I finally picked up the hinterberg frame i spoke about in december. It's in pieces along one wall in my bedroom...i need to wait for my daughter to go back to college before i can set it up...

and, my mom thinks there is a singer 201 at the family homestead. my aunt passed 7 years ago...and no one has wanted any of her sewing machines...so will be other there soon to see what machine it is. can anyone provide a source for a darning foot for the 201?

I have a lot to learn...will be asking lots of silly questions, i am sure.

I would search on ebay for the darning foot. I would go over to the old homestead soon, especially if there are machines to be found. I love a "machine" hunt. Let us know what you find. Maybe do a mother daughter hunt.
